SHORT DESCRIPTION

Lapso Celium™ is a lighting piece that redefines material sustainability through biotechnology. Made from cultivated cellulose grown by bacteria fed with fruit industry waste, it demonstrates how organic byproducts can replace resource-intensive materials in furniture and interior design. Its production uses almost no water, no toxic chemicals, and generates minimal waste. Each lamp is grown, not manufactured, forming its natural folds and translucency during cultivation. The result is a durable, lightweight piece with a low environmental footprint that proves responsible design can also be elegant and commercially viable.
